The first criticisms come for the former Napoli player, now playing for Bayern Munich, Kim. Matthaus, former Inter player, spoke about it.

During the last transfer window, Bayern Munich secured the services of Kim from Napoli by paying the outstanding release clause for the defender. The South Korean seemed to have settled well into his new team, earning a starting spot alongside Upamecano, and relegating de Ligt to the bench. However, in recent performances, his displays have been unconvincing and the player has received his first criticisms.

Former Inter star, Matthaus, has expressed strong doubts about Kim, stating that he is rather disappointed with the central defender’s current performance. The former Ballon d’Or winner and coach made the following statements to the reporters of SKY Sports: “He’s not performing as we expected. He needs to adapt to the Bundesliga. I have nothing against the player, but he hasn’t lived up to the expectations he brought from Italy.”
